I realize a lot of this stuff sounds not true, and some of it was until my girlfriend busted me and told me to only write true stuff.

Anyway I am ALLERGIC to silk and wool. I can’t wear it because when it touches my skin I break out in little bumps. My friends used to call me Mr. Polyester.

So take the manufacturer’s word:

“Take A Touch Of Satin travel pillows on the plane and when you arrive at your destination, your hair will still look and feel great because your hair gently glides across the luxurious satin fabric.

A Touch Of Satin pillows are the perfect accent pillow to compliment your bed. [Not sure about this one, I don't want my pillow going from coach class to my bed.]

The pillowcase is made using luxurious satin with benefits to your hair and skin. It is also completely washable. The pillow is designed to feel just like it is ”down filled”. It is hypo-allergenic, washable and dryer safe. The pillow measures 12″ x 16″. Small enough to take anywhere you travel and large enough to give your head complete freedom of movement.”

A little too much fluff if you ask me. Available here.

I like that they have a MAN's color too.

No need for you to take the manufacturer’s word for it. It doesn’t sound like you’d have a problem with the pillows, Mr. Polyester. Satin is a synthetic fabric made from polyester, acetate, nylon or rayon. Silk is generally no longer part of the satin-making process.

Hi Mike, I went to the A Touch Of Satin website about ten months ago at the recommendation of a friend of mine who travels alot. She told me how comfortable a travel pillow it is. I wound up buying two, one for me and one for my husband. He actually ordered the sample you show as a “Man’s color”. Thats actually pretty funny. I bought a beautiful pastel floral print. The bottom line is we BOTH love them and now recommend them to all of our friends. I think they’re becoming very popular because I saw two different people, during the past three weeks that had them on plane trips.

When I’m not traveling, I keep mine on the recliner in the family room and fall asleep with it under my head every night while watching tv or reading. The satin is so amazingly comfortable and smooth and you know what? It does feel just like my down pillow on my bed. I have washed both travel pillows numerous times and they look as great as the day I got them.

You picked a winner here Mike! Keep up the good work!
